Who is eligible to apply for a ZoLoans personal loan?

Any Indian resident aged 21–60 years with a minimum monthly income of ₹20,000 can apply. We accept both salaried employees and self-employed individuals. You must have a valid PAN card, Aadhaar, and an active bank account.

What is the minimum CIBIL score required?

We consider applicants with a CIBIL score of 650 and above. However, our proprietary 200-point credit model evaluates many other factors — so even if your CIBIL score is lower, you may still qualify based on your income stability, employment history, and repayment behaviour.

Can self-employed individuals apply?

Yes. Self-employed professionals and business owners are welcome to apply. You will need to provide your last 2 years of ITR, 6 months of bank statements, and proof of business existence (GST certificate or trade licence).

Is there an age limit for applying?

Yes. Applicants must be between 21 and 60 years of age at the time of application. The loan tenure must also end before the applicant turns 65.

Can I apply if I already have an existing loan?

Yes, having an existing loan does not automatically disqualify you. We assess your total debt-to-income ratio. If your existing EMIs are within 50% of your net monthly income, you are likely eligible for an additional loan.

What documents are required for a salaried applicant?

Salaried applicants need to submit: PAN card, Aadhaar card (for KYC), last 3 months' salary slips, last 6 months' bank statements, and a recent utility bill or rental agreement as address proof. All documents can be uploaded digitally — no physical copies needed.

Do I need to submit physical documents?

No. ZoLoans is 100% digital. All documents are submitted online via our secure portal. You can upload scanned copies or clear photographs of your documents directly from your phone or computer.

Is my Aadhaar card mandatory?

Yes, Aadhaar is required for KYC (Know Your Customer) verification as mandated by RBI guidelines. Your Aadhaar details are used solely for identity verification and are stored securely in compliance with UIDAI regulations.

How long does loan approval take?

Most applications receive a decision within 2–4 hours of submitting complete documents. In some cases, additional verification may be required, which can take up to 24 hours. You will receive real-time updates via SMS and email throughout the process.

When will the loan amount be credited to my account?

Accepted Answer

Once your loan is approved and the loan agreement is signed digitally, the amount is disbursed directly to your bank account within 24 hours. For pre-approved customers, disbursal can happen in as little as 2 hours.

Why might my application be rejected?

Accepted Answer

Common reasons for rejection include: low credit score, high existing debt obligations, incomplete or inconsistent documents, employment instability, or the loan amount requested being significantly higher than your repayment capacity. If rejected, you will receive a reason via email and can reapply after 90 days.

Can I check my application status online?

Yes. Once you submit your application, you will receive a unique application reference number. You can track your application status in real time on our website or by calling our customer support at 1800-XXX-XXXX (toll-free).

How do I repay my loan?

Repayment is via auto-debit (NACH mandate) from your registered bank account on the EMI due date each month. You can also make payments via NEFT, IMPS, or UPI through our online portal. We recommend keeping sufficient balance in your account to avoid bounce charges.

What happens if I miss an EMI payment?

A late payment fee of ₹500 or 2% of the overdue EMI (whichever is higher) will be charged. Missed payments are also reported to credit bureaus, which can negatively impact your CIBIL score. If you anticipate difficulty, please contact us before the due date — we may be able to offer a temporary restructuring.

Can I change my EMI due date?

Yes, you can request a change in your EMI due date once during the loan tenure. The request must be made at least 10 days before the current due date. A nominal processing fee of ₹250 applies.

Are there any prepayment charges?

You can make part-prepayments after completing 6 EMIs. Part-prepayment is free of charge up to 25% of the outstanding principal per year. For amounts exceeding 25%, a 2% fee on the excess prepaid amount applies.

Can I foreclose my loan before the tenure ends?

Yes. You can foreclose your loan in full after completing a minimum of 6 EMIs. Foreclosure is subject to a foreclosure charge of 3% on the outstanding principal amount, plus applicable GST.

How do I initiate foreclosure?

Log in to your ZoLoans account, navigate to 'My Loans', and select 'Request Foreclosure'. You will receive a foreclosure statement with the exact payoff amount including charges. Payment can be made via NEFT, IMPS, or UPI. The loan is closed within 2 working days of payment receipt.

Question 20

Will I receive a No Objection Certificate (NOC) after foreclosure?

Yes. A No Objection Certificate (NOC) is issued digitally within 7 working days of successful loan closure. The NOC is also sent to CIBIL and other credit bureaus to update your credit record. You can download it from your account dashboard.
